i was just reading about Malcom X ..... and back when America was dealing with racism this is what happened:
When Malcom X visited Makkah after he became a Muslim, he commented on the great diversity of people he found there:
There were tens of thousands of pilgrims, from all over the world. They were of all colors, from blue-eyed blondes to black-skinned Africans. But we were all participating in the same ritual, displaying a spirit of unity and brotherhood that my experiences in America had led me to believe never could exist between the white and non-white.
lemme know what u think ... no insulting or abusing ANY RELIGION

I think that when people have a common bond they can overcome their differences in other areas. As someone who has served in the U.S. military it's a no brainer when it comes to who you're going to be loyal to when a white and a black soldier in the same uniform are fighting an enemy soldier of either color. It doesn't seem like Malcolm's religion imbued him with a great love for people of all races.

I don't know whether it is cute or scary that you say "back when America was dealing with racism."
Yes, I do believe Malcolm X was assassinated before his newer views were introduced to the general public. But I might be wrong about that.

It's only interesting to us because we live in such an intentionally atomised, divided society. But that's changing, of course.

Yea, he found out that hate was not the answer and I believe he felt mislead by his previous teacher. They killed him upon he return with his new outlook.
