no doubt! i just read through some of these.. and jennifersuem is on of those intollerant pieces of crap that is out there...actually, i myself know more than enough smokers to make me decide to open a" smokers only " bar and grill... i think you may start to see this a little.... we are still many! i am a chef, and at this point i would have no better pleasure , than to open an establishment to SMOKERS ONLY.!..AND GUESS WHAT????? non smokers will be turned away at the door or seated as the the one guy put it..." in the NONsmokers ghetto" ( love that term by the way!) people that intolerant do not understand the addiction power or the pleasure of it. i dont really care for the smell of perfume, hair spray, or cologne. these are not good things to breath either! or are good for the environment! if smoking is eliminated some day...great.. until then, smokers dont need to be treated like pigs and social outcasts!

Dying breed ... LOL. Find establishments that have comfortable accomodations for smokers and patronize them. Let the managers know this is why. When you find on with poor accomodations for smokers, take the trouble to let the manager know why you won't be back.
The main reason we are confined to shrinking "smokers' ghettos" is that so many of us are MESSY. The most frequent reason for decreasing smoking areas is to decrease clean-up costs. We must compel the slobs among us to be cleanly in their smoking, lest they continue to spoil things for all of us.
We must also police our own kind better in the workplace. If one person is taking two extra 5 minute breaks each day, soon the whole staff will be resenting ALL of us, not just that one shirker.

What's at work, here, is what Thomas Jefferson called the tyranny of the majority. It isn't right that any one group have it their own way all the time...even when it is the majority. Smaller groups should have things their way, even if it's only sometimes.
And yet, this is a fight we will not win; smoking is no longer a health issue. It's become a test of morality.
Think about it: Paris Hilton, in return for her disgraceful homemade sex videos, has reaped celebrity and admiration; anything she does is quite alright, and is even admired. But!, if she were to light up a smoke...! Oh, what I wouldn't give to see that play out.

SMOKERS SHOULD HAVE ZERO RIGHTS.
This country should be 100% NON SMOKING!!!
NO SMOKING ANYWHERE AT ALL!!!
If you are caught smoking IN PUBLIC a $1000 fine for the first offense and then it doubles for each time there after.
If you are a SMOKER, NO HEALTH INSURANCE for YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!! YOU are too costly to insure.

i'm a similar way. i visit at times eliminate darkness from interior the homestead if that's chilly exterior, yet on condition that the youngsters are not right here, that's uncommon. i'm needless to say no longer grew to become off via human beings who smoke, via fact i'm one. yet, till now i began out smoking, i could make my husband brush his tooth till now i could kiss him via fact i could no longer stand the smell of his breath. I dated a guy that would smoke till now he kissed me, even however he wasn't a smoker, basically so the flavor wasn't so harsh. Non human beings who smoke are humorous in that way, i assume!

I agree, I can think of alot worse things than smoking. It's like leprosy or something. They should have an area to go so people have something more important to complain about, like, say, terrorists.

SHOOT, YOU'VE HAD YOUR DAY IN THE SUN. RIGHT UP UNTIL RECENTLY SMOKERS COULD LIGHT UP ANYWHERE- CROWDED TRAINS,PLANES, BARS, RESTAURANTS, THEATRES, BOWLING ALLEYS, ANYWHERE. NOW YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE HEALTH OF OTHERS, EVEN IF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR OWN. QUIT SMOKING OR QUIT COMPLAINING.
I HAVE ADULT ASTHMA AND MY WORLD IS LIMITED TO THE FEW PLACES THAT DON'T ALLOW SMOKING INSIDE. THANKS A LOT.
