I think my car's factory (stock) speakers blew out -- they now only work at lower volume levels, but for limited periods of time. I have speakers from my previous car (Polk EX602a 6 1/2 inch), which I want to install in my current car. But I don't want the same thing to happen to these speakers. The stereo is a Sony EXR-400 cassette am/fm receiver/tuner. I don't know how to tell if they'll be compatible.
My current car is a 1996 Nissan 200SX.

yes your Polk 6.5"s will fit either in front or rear. most likely this wont happen to the Polks... a factory speaker generally handles approx. 20watts max. your Sony is putting out about 50watts max. your Polks should handle about 100watts max.

Idk the thanks to digital mail you yet i replace into wondering if you're able to help me out with an same subject. I have Bose ability Classics abode audio kit that i favor to position in in my motorcar. Im uncertain about what amp and how plenty wattage it would want to have. The audio kit are 8 ohms.

try crutchfield.com or visit circut city they will tell you if they fit
