I have three kids ages 12months, 22months, and 5yrs. They all have late bedtimes, I am still up right now, so I do to and so does my hubby. I am unmotivated to get the house cleaned in the day, I do good to get in a 30min walk and keep up with my three boys. I am so disorganized, my house is a mess with papers and clutter and no one is on a schedule for anything. Where do I start?

Our house is the same way. My kids are OLDER Daughter is 14 Sons are 11 & 7 yrs.
I suffer from Bi Polar Disorder so that magnifies the motivation aspect. THERE IS NONE..... lol
The medication I take - Prozac, Tegritol & Seroquel ZAPS all energy/motivation/thinking. So nothing ever gets done on time.
Maybe start with ONE thing you really want to change. Bed time: Start gettting everyone to bed EARLY. Keep at it for a week.
Then add something else. Picking up toys. Do that a week. Sooner or later everything else should fall into place.

you can start to take the clothes and toys you don't need or used anymore give a donation to goodwill but do it when the kids are not home because if you ask them you still playing with this toy they are always say yes...so teach them a game to who ever play with two toys at the time and them put them away get a start when they collect 20 start during the week you take them to the ice cream place or mc donalds go to the dollar store buy stickers paste in your refrigertor a white page with your kids name and for every chore they do they earn a sticker so let them know the more they get the best way to go to do something special and remember keep your promess ok. good luck mom and i hope this help..

I have 2 kids, age 10 months, and 4 years... they both also have later bed times.. actually they go to bed about 1130.. the baby has acid reflux, and never really slept good through the night... i feel the same way around the house...
maybe get someone to help you with ur housecleaning, and take shifts with the kids with ur husband...
we do the shift thing and when he is able to not have to work 140 hours every two weeks, it really does good....

Start by asking them to help...
Actually house chores can be done together with your kids...asking them to help....like cleaning table, sweep the floor..etc ..even thou they don't "clean" well but at least you can clean it while they are busy witht their "cleaning"...and bonding time for all as well...family quality time..
as for the youngest get him to go ard with you can pick up things and put into a temp rubbish mini box....
or
put all three children into one room and place toys on floor and ask them to play together and the eldest to take care if anything happen let you know...close the door and you can do the chores...
if really come to no choice...then get a cleaner to your place twice a week to clean your house....

I read a great book by Julie Morgenstern called "Organizing from the Inside Out". She also wrote one titled "Time Management from the Inside Out". The organization book is great. She helps you determine why you have organizational problems to begin with and how to arrange your home so it works for you.
Can't say enough about the book. Hope it helps you.
