ok, i'd love to go out with that girl, but she has a boyfriend, but i saw them together, i am much bigger than him, and it looks like she is bored with him. they werent holding hands or anything, and they were barely talking. what should i do? i cant just ask her out can i?

You can still ask her out. If she would rather be with you than him she'll say yes, otherwise-you'll get turned down and she'll still be with the other guy. You really have nothing to lose except a wee bit of dignity, but look at it this way. What feels worse-being turned down by a girl who's single, or being turned down by a girl who has a guy? At least this way, you can blame it on something besides "she just doesn't like me".

Have they been going out long? Perhaps they're still a little shy around each-other. In any case, don't make any moves until she's single again. What you see in public isn't always what's happening all the time. For all you know, they could be constantly kissing and cuddling in private. Also, women don't like guys who hit on them when he knows she's with another man... it makes him look arrogant.

just make it subtle that you like her, and drop hints. be sure it's subtle though that is very important. make it slow. eventually, if she likes you too, she will flirt with you (probably) and then dump the other guy, then talk to her more, and make it a tad more obvious, then give her a little time, untill you think shes gotten over the other guy then maybe ask her on a date, then it should flow from there. if she doesn't like you, she wont flirt back, but go ahead and ask her out. the worst that could happen is she says no.

Ask her out, even if it's just for coffee. She might need a friend. And if she says no, she might feel complimented that you are interested in her -- and that's gotta feel good.
Take a risk. You'll learn something about yourself.
