I had learnt yoga. However, that instructor just do & we followed. At the end, i am not sure what are the dos & don'ts in yoga & the correct breathing method (which is very important in yoga)
I would like to pick up yoga again but this time with a responsible instructor who will lead me through the art of yoga.
Not just monkey see and Monkey do.

I have looked for a yoga instructor, and I'm afraid to say that I could not find one.
There are yoga poses that no one should do. These include the headstand, the shoulder stand, the Yoga Plough, the Yoga Cobra (with arms straight), and many others. I developed a yoga teacher quiz, where I showed yoga instructors a series of photographs of some yoga poses that I knew, from my athletic trainer, that were so dangerous no one should do, along with yoga poses performed extremely badly. The only instructor I found who correctly answered the quiz lived over 1,000km from me.
I don't want a yoga instructor who promotes questionable medical practices or New Age spirituality. Unfortunately, this sort of crap goes along with the territory.

I have tried International Yoga Center (www.iyc.sg). I think it is quite good.
