Look there's alot of things that are a "sin" but if you know you 'ain't going to do anything bad then don't trip. I'll just tell you one thing sleeping together means there is a slight chance that he will try something and you won't be able to stop him from doing that but be strong and tell him that if he loves you he should hold his horse in his stool. Any men that can't respect that then he is not after a relationship but some tail.

It may be hard to convince a police oficer if you are under legal age 18 in most states to be without adult supervison on the adventure. If there is no adult 21 and over supervison in my view their may exist a problem beyond the idea of just what the church would say. I personally got a phone call from a state trooper when my daughter was out late with guy freind at a concert after legal curfew of the state.I gave verbal permisson to the officer so nothing happened in this case. gl

I am not a catholic, but I do not see any harm in spending a weekend with your boy friend camping if you are sleeping in separate sleeping bags and are just enjoying a good time together doing innocent fun things. But if you are both very in love and attracted to one another not going too far would be hard in such a situation.

First as being a Catholic it is forbidden to sleep with an opposite sex without the blessing of the Holy Sacrament of marriage. Yes you are on the right age but not on the righteousness if you have done it wrong. Being in bed with an opposite sex is is a bad impression for others especially if somebody knows it. Remember that gossip have WINGS.

No! it's not a sin to spend time with someone you love. In fact, it's simply WONDERFUL.
In your case however, spending time alone with your boyfriend in a camping trip (or whatever) puts you in a situation of temptation. C'mmon, if you're attracted to someone you'd definitely would want to have physical contact with him/her. Its just putting yourself in a situation where you are weak and easily conquered.
Nevertheless, if you are in control of your self (and desires), then I say, go on. Why pass up something that is both wonderful and good.
Well, you're parents may not let you go, but its a natural reaction. They want to protect you because they love you. So show them that you are a respectable woman, that you can be trusted and mature enough to handle intimate situation. Then they might just let you go.

I am a parent, and my daughter isn't going on these types of trips untill she is over 18 or 21. Sorry, but diseases are rampant. Depending on your age, your parents may not allow this trip. If you don't have sex, oral sex, or any titillating foreplay, then I don't see it as a sin according to the catholic church. I was raised catholic.

Its not a sin but it is likely to lead to something which is why it is looked down on and not accepted. The sin happens when you do something that is reserved for married couples, you know what I mean?
If I were your parent, I would not let you go just because parents are supposed to protect their kids from anything bad that could possibly happen.

No such thing as two people in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship just sleeping together on an outing, where sleeping is defined as just snoozing. That situation is reserved for couples like me and my wife, married for a good number of years, but happily. For you...and your stimulated boyfriend (Yes, he is...you know he is) it snoozing will preceded by panting. Your parents know this. The Catholic church knows it even more.
