Haha oh well. At least us guys don't get called sluts when we sleep with lots of women. I'll take that instead of good advice on what to do if I'm 30 and can't get any, haha.

I think it's because when a girl asks that question, she seems defenseless, hurt, and lonely... it strikes a pity giving part of them, and a guy tries to be a romantic hero, trying to save her or give support...

As a guy, it seems that it makes you look weak and lame. Like if a guy had to show a strong image of himself, and being weak just makes people nearly disgusted with you. Like if a man doesn't have the right to be weak sometimes...

I mean that's what i felt when i read the questions... i wonder if it's social programing, but it seems most people would see a girl as a weaker sex, and would be more kin to offer help to them than a guy, which is OF COURSE strong enough to get through anything emotional...

But the insulting part, i think it's other guys being competitive, and girls saying "that fact is not attractive" *in harsher words*...

Interesting, I knew people were like this. I really try not to be and think I'm doing a good job. It's really sad how people treat you different just because of your sex, even though it's the same exact situation. I thought about doing something like this on Answers myself just to see what happens. Oh well thats people for ya!

HAH! thats fuucking amazing. im glad you did that. people are bittches like that. complain about wanting to be treated equally, yet when its the same situation, but different sex... everything changes. now thats fuucked.i guess things are like this because girls are sensitive. call a girl an ugly, lame pathetic person.. she will probably kill herself.. call a guy the exact same thing.. who cares?! its ridiculous. There is a double standard in most aspects of life. Sometimes it works for us, and sometimes against.

With girls, the majority is usually sympathetic. With guys, we're just considered douchebags.

Maybe it means that we still see women as the gatekeepers in dating and guys as the risktakers. As a guy, you weren't successful or weren't bold. As a gal, you were just selective. I don't think it's bad, just revealing about how we see men and women.
