My sunny will get all fluffed up and wave from side to side, then lift up her foot and lay on her side. While I pet her belly she grips my finger. I love conures! I didn't teach ehr this, she just does it, especially if we are in bed and she is under the covers (no, I don't sleep with her there, but we cuddle before bedtime) or she is under her night-night in her cage.

When they're on their back you gently wiggle your fingers over their belly. Giggle and act as silly as possible. Most conures go crazy when you do this ^.^ . You can even cover the bird with a towel and lift up the end to play 'peek a boo'. As a reward, gently wiggle your fingers under the bird's wings. My green cheek conure chicks are getting a kick out of thw tickle game !
