My mom won't let me pick up this cat family in a ditch. There's 3 kittens, 1 mom and a dad and so there in the ditch near my house and my mom won't let me take care of them how can I make her change her mind!!!

you can't. I can't say I would let my kids either. You have no idea where those cats have been, or what they will end up bringing to your house. You might consider a compromise in suggesting that she let you take them to the Human Society or other animal shelter (one that does not put animals to sleep if they can't find a home), or at least calling the Humane Society to pick them up. I would do that, even if I wouldn't let my kids have them.

I don't think you'll be able to get her to change her mind. Instead you should ask her if you or her could call a local animal control officer or a pet food store. Perhaps they can point you to an animal rescue group in the area. AND perhaps if you show this level of initiative and responsibility, she'll let you keep at least one of the kittens and the others could be adopted out.

it may not be a good idea. these cats could be feral. and if so, then they might be dangerous or have diseases.
please call your local animal shelter and ask them to send someone out to see about this cat family.
trust me, i'm not being heartless, animals in distress break my heart.
but i've learned so much about feral cats lately. a normal house cat and a feral cat are so different it is almost like they are completely different kinds of animals.
feral cats are closer to racoons in nature.
please be careful/ you obviously have a kind heart, and you want to help, but you literally cannot take in every stray.

Ohh! I wish I could help...if you cant take them home maybe you could take them food down and maybe some kinda shelter...even if its just a box or something....Since the whole familys there they should be ok, but it never hurts to put a little salmon or tuna in a plate for them... :) Good luck!

my mom did the same thing so my dad called the animal shelter[which is luckily right down the street] and they picked them up and found good homes for them

ha i undergo in ideas at present my acquaintances and that i positioned a sticky be conscious on my crushes automobile to grant me a decision if he became attracted to me..... i left my variety.... in any case ok so i did not get a decision....besides the undeniable fact that it became loopy because we ended up hooking up.... so he did like me after all, yet grew to change into out my paper blew off his automobile! err! lol yet hi flow for it! if he says sure outstanding! if he says no.. nicely hello are different men available!

she may not let u keep them but if u ask to take them to a shelter she may say yes..... you are doing the right thing wanting to take care of the animals... your kind hearted.... i hope she changes her mind... best of luck =)

she's most likely worried they have disease, which they likely do, also fleas and other wonderful stuff... also, unlikely the cats want your "help" if they are feral, they will rather tear your face off than let you help.... i suggest calling your local humane society.

they can have diseases...just keep giving them some milk they'll get strong and take care of them self.....cats can live ont here own they have natural instint for it...
