Assuming you mean riding in the basket and not in the balloon itself (just kidding) there are too many variables to answer your question. The movies have occasionally addressed this issue, and in doing so, point out many problems that can come up unexpectedly. The balloon could launch before you had a chance to climb aboard as it did in the Wizard of OZ. The wind may not cooperate, and there could be unscheduled landings as a result of the wind velocity being too low. A storm could also force an unscheduled landing. In today's world it may not even be possible due to heightened security and the inability to get permission to enter the airspace over some countries. I won't continue with other gloom & doom reasons why it wouldn't work, but I am curious as to why someone would want to spend so many days in a one "room" accomodaton with no toilet, no kitchen (that's a lot of K-rations, or MREs) LOL, and it would be awfully cold up there!

Depends on wind conditions and if Dave Henderson, the back up guitarist in Sgt. Pepper's New Hearts Club Band is turning the propeller fast enough. You do have funny spandex suits with big open chests right? sigh* You'll have to find some. Also, if Dave Henderson isn't available you'll just drift until you've been around the world, or killed. See the movie Sgt. Pepper's Hearts Club Band and you'll see. Besides it's AWSOME!
