Fish & Shellfish Freezer (safety)

Lean fish 6 months
Fatty fish 2 to 3 months
Cooked fish 4 to 6 months
Smoked fish 2 months

It depends mainly on how you freeze it. When my family and i go fishing, we clean the fish and then place it in a ziplock filled with enough water to completly cover the fish. They can then last in the freezer that way for years, as long as you don't let it thaw. Otherwise, if it's frozen the way you find in supermarkets, i wouldn't let i go any longer than any other meat- about a month if it's deep frozen, a few weeks if it's thawed before.

if u apply some vineger and salt on both sides. then freezed.

u can use this fish after 15 days also...

it will remain fresh..

when u want to cook. then wash properly.

and enjoy cooking.

3 to 6 months tops. there always better to cook them when fresh.
