lol, a purity ring means that you have made a commitment to not have sex before marriage. You can get them at many Christian book stores. Here is a link that kind of explains it better.

It does not only mean that the person will not have sex until they are married, although it does mean that it is a religous thing. Christians mainly. wear rings on our left 4th finger (ring finger) to symbolize their relationship with God comes first until they are married, then they can give them selfs to their husbands. Becuase they believe that that is how God intended it to Man and Wife, an intimate relationship.

Girls who wear purity rings (and BTW, many guys wear them too) are NOT teases. They believe, based on their Christian faith, that it is wrong to be sexually intimate outside of marriage. So that would include any kind of sex or closeness, including oral sex, mutual masturbation (hand jobs, etc.) and nakedness. Because it is based on religious beliefs, it would be a mistake to try to change her mind. (Whereas someone who's just a little scared or unsure about sex might be easily persuaded.)

it is a sighn that she is pure and will remane pure untill she is married i am guessing she is a christan. being pure means not to have sex or sexual intercoures of any kind but it dose allow kissing if u need more of an answere try to look it up online well good luck being smart!!!!!LOL

I think it means that a person will not have sex until after their married and then only will they have it with their wife/husband. At least that's what I think it means.
