I am looking for a new favorite cocktail. My "old reliable" has been Captain and Coke, but I'm looking to switch it up a little. Please don't state any of the obvious (gin & tonic, etc.) I'm looking for something a little out of the ordinary...but, also something I could get at a regular bar. Please help!

So many drinks... so little room.
O.K.! Here are common vodka drinks, they are easy to remember because some start with the same letter of the juice they are mixed with.
Cape Cod...Vodka & Cranberry
Greyhound...Vodka & Grapefruit
Mardas...Vodka, O.J. and Cranberry (Madras M for Mixed)
Baybreeze ...Vodka, Pineapple and splash of cranberry
Seabreeze...Vodka, Grapefruit and splash of cranberry
(I remember the later two because I hate grapefruit juice..so Seabreeze is S for sick and Baybreeze is B for better.)
Icepick...Voda and Iced Tea
I use to bartend. I would need to know if you like sweet or sour drinks. Weak or strong.

If Captain was your poison of choice, then you obviously like it a little on the sweeter side. Try this tasty lil treat:

"Captain Smoothie"
3/4 oz Captain Morgan
3/4 oz Ameretto
3/4 oz Baileys Irish Cream
*Mixed in a shaker, and then strained into a rocks glass full of ice.

Enjoy!!

Bahama Momma. 3 kinds of rum, orange and pineapple juice and coconut. Don't forget the umbrella.
Goes down easy.

BTW-Jack Daniels is not bourbon

Lemon drops are good. Also, vanilla martinis made with vanilla stoli or Ruby Red Absolute with ruby red grapefruit juice is YUM!

Try an Orange Tic-Tac. It's made with orange vodka, orange juice, and Red Bull. Very sweet, but it tastes just like an orange Tic-Tac and is very addicting.

You should try a "Paloma" Tequila and Grapefruit Soda.. use aged tequila, preferably out from the barrel.
