i think the best way to pray is to give praise while you are doing something productive.
many convents and churches do huge amounts of volunteering and they pray before and afterwards *+(this allows them to feel more relaxed and intuned with the will of the creator while they are helping others)
you shouldnt judge others just because you dont agree with them. i feel more likely to do something to help someone else after i pray.

i think in the end, it doesn't make a difference. A good worker is a happy worker.
Prayer seems to relax people for some reason, with that they are more happy, and they will work harder or better.

Sunday... and monday morning, right?.. Well, I'd rather the believers be content and working then busy and unproductive. I imagine the time off is helpfull, right?

Too many hours. How about they go and do some voluntary work for the sick or homeless etc?

not nearly enough. Speaking for myself I can only imagine how much better my life and everything would be .not to mention being closer to God to be able to help others.Thank you for encouraging me to pray more although I'm sure that's not what you intended
