A witch is someone who practices magic and self-identifies as a witch. A Wiccan is someone who has been initiated into a Wiccan coven that can trace its lineage back to Gardner. A Wiccan has been introduced to the Wiccan Gods and has experienced the Wiccan Mysteries.

Wicca is a religion, whereas witchcraft is nontheistic. One can be any religion or no religion and also be a witch.

Witches no longer exist. The spiritual path that witches followed and practiced was mostly lost during the burning times (the middle ages, when witches were burned at the stake).
Modern Wicca is an amalgamation of what is remembered of the old ways with a bunch of other stuff added on; and practiced by Wiccans.

a witch is just someone who practices witchcraft, ie magick. a wiccan is someone who follows the wiccan religion, that is worships both a God and a Goddess. normally wiccans will become offended if you call them a witch.

Witches have a more "spritually secretive" doxology, they belive in "netherworldly" spirits/entities; Wiccans belive that nature around us contains spirits and those come from the forces of nature.

A common bond between both: they're pagan and intimately free spirited.
