Hi I'm 13, and I'm having some boy problems, well, I just don't know how to get a guy's attention

Hi. how are you, well, I am having problems with getting a guys attention. I'm at that age you know where everyone is dating, but I haven't been out with anyone, I start to think, is something wrong with me, but everyone disagrees, they say I'm just shy and everything, and if I start being outgoing, then guys will start likeing me, the thing is, everytime I like a guy they find out, and start acting different around me before we start to get to know each other. This time though the guy I like,likes my friend, Well, my question is how do I get a guys attention? Thanks,soooo much and your answers and opinios are well apreciated!!

just do the following things:
FLIRT!
ALWAYS be yourself.
dont be too eager.
make sure you have a few things in common.
make sure you can trust them and talk to them.
make sure they treat you very well and will in the future :)
dont have too high of standards but dnt have too low.
most of all show that you have respect for yourself and dont let anyone pressure you into doing things your not ready to do.
theres nothing wrong with you, just express yourself, be creative and outgoing, whats the sense of being shy? you have so much to live for so dont get wrapped up in boys too much but they are fun :) whatever you do just have fun, flirt!!!!! just go for it. i mean your young, have fun, be yourself and go for it. he may like you friend but if you open up to him maybe he will see things in you that he doesnt see in your friend. be true to yourself. good luck girl!

Look, the LAST thing you need to be worried about at 13 is going out with a guy. Focus your attention on SCHOOL!! NOT boys,,,god, your only 13!!!! where are your parents, you need to focus on good grades, and try to get involved in sports, music, theater, choir, anything other than worrying about wheather or not you have a boyfriend, Pleeeease, there will be plenty of time in your life when that will occur, hopefully not until your at least 18. People under 18 do not need to be sidetracked with relationship issues involving the opposite sex, Focus on your family, your parents and brothers and/or sisters.

I agree with everyone saying that 13years old is much too young to be dating. I know you feel like being left out but its totally normal at this age.Im not trying to be a smart dog here but boys are ussually scared of girls at your age.They are stupid if you observe them carefully. I don't think that stealing your friend's guy is ever a good thing! You'll find someone who'll like you for you. You definitely don't want to be any guy's second choice.
You mentioned you're shy although in Asia, shyness is an attractive quality=) Work up your confidence, stand tall most importantly DON'T act needy, guys will flock to you like bees to honey when you appear unattainable.

at 13 many of the guys are just figuring out that they like girls..many are shy and afraid of rejection..it is ok if they get rejected by the couple of really hot girls, but if you are maybe average or good looking but not the top girls... they dont want to be embarrassed by being turned down by you..its best to try and get one of your friends that has a bf to try and bring his friends around, before you know it one will be looking at you..if they do dont shy away, by say something, or try to get him to say something
dont listen to these people who say you are too young, try not to get too serious yet, date and have fun but 13 is probably about when most people start to date..

Y'all are dating at 13 now!!! I'm locking up my daughter. This is way too much pressure than you need right now. You have your whole life ahead of you for this crap. Please slow down and just know that the right guy will eventually just like you for who you are and if you have to "do" something to get his attention then he's to immature to appreciate you at this point in his life.
