Its for the heavy flow-ers. They dont feel comfortable wearing the thin ones, and dont want to worry about it.

I hear that a lot of larger women prefer the thick pads because the average pad is made for a size 6 or something. (Don't know if that's true, and I'm not trying to be mean.) Some older ladies I know just don't trust the thin pads because they grew up with thicker ones ... habit I guess.

probably because they are already used to the thick ones and do not have the same level of confidence for the thin pads

If you have ever noticed a woman changes when she is on her period.
12 days before her period her temp rises to 100o. It means that she is ovulating and her make up is as pure and pretty as ever. She is best dressed and her manerisms are very touchy with a elegant voice. It is nature at work as she must prepare to find a mate that will hang it up.
On the other hand...
6 days before her period pms can strike at any minute becasue she didn't get nailed .
7 days after her period she is hotter than a fire cracker thats when you need to be dressed in full armour gear during sex to protect you from the battle wounds...such as back scratches, back biting, and finger pulling.

they probably don't believe that the thin ones will protect the same way thick ones do

Maybe they like the way it feels. Because they have long thin ones out for the larger ladies.

Back in the early 80's, one pad was taken off the market, because it worked so well, it killed some girls. Be careful!

I TOTALLY been wondering that too. Cuz, they totally are protective. But, hey maybe because if you were that thin one for a long time it might leak and that would suck.
