Did it make you wince a little when you read that? I freak out when I think about injuring an eye. Is that weird?

I cannot wear Contacts and I have a very hard time putting on Mascara.

This is weird but when I was a kid I used to have nightmares about things sticking in my eyes. Knives and forks.
But the worst one was a dream about some one gouging my eye out!
I could see them holding my eye in one hand. I could see the long bloody nerve handing from it!

No, not a paper cut. But I have had a metal sliver cut my eye (left) and another aluminum shaving embedded in my (right) eye. Also, being an industrial EMT, I've personally removed innumerable metal slivers from the eyes of co-workers at the factory. Generally, if I can't get it out with the specialized equipment we have on hand for such occurances, then off they go to the doctor, who'll numb the eye, put some dye in it, find the problem, fix the problem, patch up the eye for a couple of days and send them back to work with a perscription for a topical (don't ask me to spell ophthalmic) antibiotic.

A paper cut to the eye wouldn't be that much different.
