NO!! You shouldn't use a ThermoGasket because it doesn't have the metal rings for the pistons. It will burn out pretty fast and you will have to replace it all over again.

It is just a quick fix, and depending on the extent of your problem, it is likely that it will not fix it. Remember, a blown head gasket is usually between the combustion chamber and something else, like between them, or to a water jacket. The combustion chamber has a tremendous amount of pressure when the fuel is ignited. Something like 24 pounds per cubic inch. That's a lot of force. The only way to fix this is to pull the head, clean both surfaces, make sure that the head is not damaged and it's flat, and reassemble with a new gasket. Good luck.

Shortcuts never work when it comes to repairs. Have a shop do the head gasket replacement- soon- before the head or block is damaged beyond use and then you have to spend some real money to make it right...

you cannot repair a blown head gasket this way,,the only way to fix it is take it off and replace the gasket,,you may also have to have the head re-surfaced also,,because this is usually what causes them to blow,,the chemical repair you are talking about,,is like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound,,good luck,,hope this help,s.

It's just like online gaming vs the real life. Like Wizard101, you can be quick friends, just by clicking the 'Add Friend' button. But it takes more than a chat or two to become connected to have a friendship-relationship.

I sure wouldn't but you could try this if you want.
If a head gasket goes than I would replace it and not Doctor it..

as a temporary fix, as in getting to a garage, it is fine though the longer it is on the harder and more it will cost to repair.
