The Church will love it if God comes as a woman. Or as a homosexual. Or doesn't come physically because the Second Coming is a spiritual event, as sages like Swedenborg contend.
This question sounds like it's coming from a Christian perspective, so I'm guessing you beliive that God was here before, and presumably you mean in the form of Jesus. And if that's the case, then God was preaching unconditional love for people (whether or not He condoned certain actions or lifestyles). If churches can't practice what He preached (and what they're then supposed to be preaching), then if God shows up in an unexpected form, they may well be the ones that reject Him or Her, as the church of Jesus' day rejected Him.
If there's to be a Second Coming, I'm happy to accept God in any form. The question isn't about accepting, but about recognizing, and I think this will be a challenge for a lot of us -- especially since we're warned about false prophets; since people can be quite saintly on the outside, regardless of their insides; etc.

God can do whatever he wants, but i dont think he would put tatoos on himself...
