And yes, I am currently using a lot of lotions on my burns. Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Ice... etc., lol OMG, believe it or not I take really really good care of my skin, a little to much lol!

Just wait it out. Use aloe or solarcaine to relieve the pain or itching. Use lotion if it starts to peal. It should get better in a few days. And use sun screen next time you go out.

Aside from the obvious lotion and aloe vera, try Noxema also. It will help cool it and make it feel better and may reduce the likelihood of a sunburn getting worse.

The aloe vera plant is most effective...not aloe vera in lotion....the plan itself. If you find one...keep it alive in a pot...then every time you burn yourself, slice off one part of the plant and rub the sap on the affected area. It's like magic...Try!

I would suggest alternating between Aloe Vera and baby lotion. The aloe will cool and sooth your skin, while the baby lotion will help moisturize and soften the overheated skin.

Aloe Vera is great and works overnight......Cool, wet towels on the affected area also help.....

Bathe w/vinegar and then use a after sun moisturizer(I like Hawaiian Tropic Lime Coolada.) It smells good too.

Neutrogena has a GREAT after sun product that fades the redness.
