I really hate stupid people. I guess stupid is relative, and it may be unfair for me to judge who is and is not stupid. But sometimes I just can't help it. STUPID PEOPLE PISS ME OFF!!!

Inconsiderate, rude and arrogant people.

I also can't stand hypocrites. I had to listen to this jerk moralize about global warming, knowing full and well that he works for one the world's largest oil companies and drives a gas-guzzling car. The kind of guy that will plunk down $100 for a ticket to hear Al Gore, then drive away in his SUV. WHAT EVER!!!!

I just went through this over the week-end (see my last posted question). I dealt with it by removing myself from the situation, talking to and being around friends and praying about it.

In situations like this, it is best to forgive and move on AND don't waste my energy on people like that. Life is too short.

I don't lose my temper very often. The main things which triggers my temper is disappointment. I think I feel angry when I expect certain thing and that is not there mostly from people. Its really funny but true. I get angry on my closed ones the most as I have a lost of expectations from them and when they are not met I feel disappointed and then angry.

I am trying to learn to bring down my expectations.

Anger is triggered when we don't get what we want. I have found that I don't really get angry about much - takes too much energy! But I do have pet peeves - people who don't truly listen, but formulate an answer based on their assumption of what you are saying - people who barrel around you in their car, hit their brakes, and turn off, causing me to have to stop my steady speed by hitting my brakes - people who assume because they cannot see what is wrong with me, that I must be faking (I get this from all walks of life and it makes me want to hammer their toes so they will understand pain :) -

Injustice.

I state my case and move on when possible. Sometimes ya have to hold onto what you believe in and force it on others until they see the light. Even if it only changes one mind, it is worth the battle. Perfect example: Spousal rape. Some see it as a right of the man, some don't and call it criminal. I see it as an opportunity for a jerk to go to jail.

Injustice triggers my anger.

I do several things, I write about it personally, I write to people in power who can change things, and I get involved with groups that work to make a difference.

Senseless violence... particularly towards children. I lose it totally and shamefully, can get instantly violent in their defense without even realizing what I am doing.
What do I do about it? Thank goodness I am not confronted with it often enough to have to do much... When someone is such a chicken**** they have to punch on kids to get their jollies, one look at a wild-eyed crazy woman headed their way with sparks shooting off her in all directions is generally enough to set them running for cover.

when people chew with their mouth open, and they are close enough to me that i can hear their lips smacking together, OHHHHH, that makes me go NUTS! i cant control it, its like an explosion goes of inside me and all i can envision is ripping of their head and jumping up and down on it until there is nothing left. Of course i never do or say anything, but wow, it really lites a fire under my a.s.s!

When the bad guy wins, and people who mess with my friends and family. You can call me anything, or do just about anything to me, and I'll let it go. But as soon as you mess with my friends or my family, then I have just been tapped by fate to make your life suck.
