Yes, it was an under card bout at PRIDE Critical Countdown Absolute event on July 1. He fought Yoshiki Takahashi and finished him off with a quick one punch knockout in just over 30 seconds of round one. It was a left hook that did it. It was a good win for Vitor and it's great to see him starting to bounce back from all the problems that he's been having in recent times. But it's also important to know that Takahashi is basically a nobody, a mediocre opponent at best and this fight doesn't really tell in what kind of shape Vitor is at the moment and if he's back to his old self. We will see that when he gets in the ring with some of PRIDE's top lightheavyweights like Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Ricardo Arona and most of all the champion Wanderlei Silva (if that match gets put together).

No, but I did see Belfort recently lose to Overeem again during a Strikeforce match last month.
