I watched a program on TV about a week or two ago about global warming and it's effects on the planet.
It is going to be absolutely devistating. More so than any of us can imagine.
According to the program, the timeline for all this devistation to start is about ten years.
So, if your Grandchildren are grown and already having children, maybe they can make them grow up really fast while there's still some food.
But in my personal opinion, I don't think God is going to allow this planet to continue to exist too much longer.
Look around you. Look at the people and the insanity of this world.
I think if there is any way to change the doom we have created for ourselves, someone better do something really drastic, really fast!

I think that we just be able to leave a planet that will feed our grandchildren as long as society takes the proper steps to save our planet. We as a whole already eat way too much food, we should cut back and stop relying on the grocery stores so much. We should connect with our roots and heritage and learn to farm and grow what we need. We should also stop being in such competition with everyone. Stop developing everything lot in sight and build more parks where kids can play.

If it all depended on us I would say "maybe". But since God watches over this planet and knows the future, I'm sure that He has built in the necessary provision for food for the people here on earth.
It's like when people get all panicked about the ozone layer because of fluorocarbons. God knew we were going to make fluorocarbons, that's why He arranged for the sun to replenish the ozone layer on a continual basis.

If your are a Christian you should already know the answer to this. It is almost inevitable that Christ will return sometime soon. He will create a new heaven and a new earth. So does it really matter? No. Is it important for us as a living people to take care of the planet? Yes.

No I think the way we are using up the planet is horrible and I don't think our great grandchildren will have unpolluted food or water and all nature will be gone. But what do I know I'm only 14.

I think that we will leave our gradnchildren a scorched and ruined Earth. Even if we change our ways in Canada, Americans will continue to ruin the Earth. There is a saying
"Only when the last tree has been cut down and the last river has run dry will we realise that we can't eat money."

3 decades ago, we were told that fossil fuels, water, and other natural resources would be depleted by the turn of the millennium, as it turns out it was all a bunch of rubbish by developing extremist environmentalists. and as for the ozone for one your respondents, that is another BS to control the masses by the governments.

no i dont believe so. people/corporations/government is so greedy and about the buck that nothing is sacred anymore. that means the land, our fruits and veggies, and especially our meat is tainted with chemicals and preservatives. eventually everything will be MANufactured, meaning not healthy or fit to be eaten by our future generations and that is very sad.
