Yeah, I'm going through the same thing except I'm a guy and me and my girlfriend broke up after a year and a month on December 9, 2005 and I'm still in love with her. I'm not saying all that to try to be discouraging in any way but it's the truth. I have another girlfriend and everything but she just can't compare to my ex. Everytime i look into her eyes, I see something that I wish could compare to my ex. I didn't really come here to answer your question but I'm basically here to ask the same question except I'm a guy. I wish I had an answer to your problem though because then I wouldn't be facing the same problem and I wouldn't feel so helpless and feel like I can't control my feelings but I guess when you fall in love you can't control it; it just happens. She has another boyfriend and he thinks he knows everything and I feel like she's got me where she wants me: I'm in love with her still and think about her all the time and sit up late at night and listen to sad music and stare at a picture of her and me and she couldn't give a **** (I'm gonna be mad if it puts * over it because that just pisses me off, don't ask why) about me. I'm sorry this is so long but write back because I wanna know what happened with you and your boyfriend...

Is he young? Are you? Young men (and old coots too) always want what they don't have, So come on, girl, ignore him,but look good, have fun, go out with other guys, if he calls you be nice but distracted for a minute then tell him you have to go. Always hang up first. It will drive him crazy. If you do eventually make up, let him chase you for a good long while. Unfortunately, people never value what comes too easily.

Don't let him take over your life like this. Be strong and do things to forget. Unfortunately love hurts, but life and everything else moves along. Listen to music, shop, go get a hair cut, paint your nails; do anything to pamper yourself. This is the time to concentrate on yourself.

If he's already talking to a new girl after only a week, he's a loser and it obviously wasn't meant to be. Trying to find a new girl after being broken up after a week is usually the last thing on my mind.

you just gotta give it time... hang out with some of your girl friends and just have fun with them... search for a new boyfriend and maybe you'll have better luck with him!
and dont worry... it'll take some time but its not pathetic that you still love him... i would feel the exact same way

Find another guy...it always helps to have someone else occupy your thoughs. Although only time will help you get over your b/f...don't talk to him, that will only make thing worse and let him think you're totall happy...good luck!!
