Mary had no choice. She knew she was carrying the son of God. Therefore when Joseph had a dream directing him to take Mary to Bethlehelm, he obeyed.
Could we have done such a challenge? I doubt it, but that's why they were made saints.

It was the magic talking donkey from Numbers. It probably had an awesome suspension system. I bet she got annoyed by it nagging her to fasten her seat belt though.

A woman that is about to have a baby can and will do some miraculous thing to insure her baby's safety, besides, she had the Almighty on her side. With Him ALL things are possible to them that believeth.
