I had a detached retina a few years ago. I lost peripheral vision. Also flashes of light can be a sign. Mine was repaired by placing a gas bubble in my eye to hold the retina in place. I had to sleep sitting up for 2 weeks but if this procedure works it is a lot less invasive than surgery. Don't wait if you think you have a problem because once the tissue dies they can't fix it. When I would look to the right I could see nothing.

Depends on the degree. Sometimes an inability to see things on the side of you. Go to an opthamologist

Flashing lights
New floaters (abunch of them)

This is a serious condition. If you think you might have the symptom, you should get checked out IMMEDIATELY.
