Colloidal silver 500ppm, olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract. Research these online and decide for yourself. I get mine from herbalhealer.com and you can read testimonials there also. Good luck!

Different kinds of antibiotics have different ways that you treat them. Sometimes the dosage is for 10 days, 14 days, depends. It is really important to follow the directions exactly. do not stop taking the antibiotics until you have completely finished them. One of the problems with being on antibiotics for a longer amount of time is that they kill all the "good" bacteria. This can set you up for a really bad yeast infection. Another complication is that you can get an infection with a strain that is resistant to the antibiotic. That is why it is wise to seek the same doctor and make sure they know what you've taken and when. You may need to have the organism cultured and tested for antibiotic sensitivity. yes it is expensive - but you're worth it.

An antibiotic is the only thing to help. And it is vital to keep the area clean. As you said there was and is allot of sewage there. It is possible that the organism is now resistant to the antibiotic. Have them culture the area to make sure they have the right organism and ABT. Doesn’t sound like you have the money to waste on the wrong ABT. So make it count. Don’t wait till you are out of the ABT (antibiotic) prior to getting more get in there when you only have 2 days left if it is not getting any better. Do not let there be any time where you are out of the ABT, take it on schedule. I wish I knew a way to get help with the insurance problem , but I don’t. God knows you have all been through enough down there.

I would suggest using potassium iodide taken internally. It is not the same thing as the iodine you get at the drugstore which could be poisoness if swallowed.
My dr told me about this stuff to cure whooping cough. It has also helped me get rid of sinus infections so it might just fight staph too. The only place I have found to get the stuff is online. The product on this site is called Tri-Quench that contains potassium iodide and here is an interesting article on this same site that discusses some of its uses.

It all depends on the antibiotic they give you. Some of the older version of antibiotics is 10 days worth taken every 4 or 8 hours. The newer versions are 7 days of treatment taken every 12 or 24 hours. They usually are very good, more expensive than the older version, but that depends on the doctor who prescribes them, and their comfort zone with the product.

You can boost your immunity by using alternative medicine like Ayurveda... There are a lot of people i know who benefitted from Ayurveda (Ancient indian healing science) and You can use Turmeric, Holy Basil, Capsule Step, Tab. Septillin (Himalaya drug co.) as herbal anti biotics. They really will get you rid of infection and you can try to find out a Ayurvedic vaidya named Anthony in Thibodaux, Lousiana..he can help you .....or you can try to find Dr. Vikram Chauhan who is from india through google....
