It said they are all new and improved, thin pads, colored belts, etc. Has anyone tried them? It says sales have skyrocketed among younger women who use pads. There must be some advantage or they wouln't be selling... any ideas? Thinking of trying them out.

I think the sanitary belt people paid off Cosmo to plant such a stupid story. It's not like that magazine is known for having high standards.

I've been using them for about a year now. Used stickon type since I started, but the belts are WAY better. Hold in place, firm, secure, etc. The belts are hidden too - even under tight clothes.

Tampons almost killed my sister - even though she was using them as instructed. Not interested in dying - and women have been using pads just fine since forever.

I think many of the women here are:
- old and only remember the OLD belts. Technology must have improved.
- use tampons so already hate pads - so I am not sure why they are chiming in... kind of elitest tone to their comments.
- have never used belts and are totally have no idea of they work or not.

Try the belts - they work!
