The visa overstays are no different from the border violators.
Check that -- I'm wrong. I understand that there is a much higher percentage of tax paying going on with the visa overstays. Maybe there is something there.
However, mass deportation isn't exactly where I go with this once I get border security and employer enforcement, etc. Except as it applies to the bad guys. I understand 302,000 illegals are projected to be deportably brought into our state and local jails just this year, and I think they should be deported after serving their sentences. That right there is a considerable 'mass' to deport, and should keep us busy until next year when we will hopefully have a somewhat lower number, and so forth.

"Illegal is illegal,as said above.Deport anyone who isn't a citizen and isn't respecting our laws." that is funny America does not respect America laws are you going to deport Americans also? atleast immigrants legal or not will get out there and work .Unlike so many Americans who wants to set back and watch immigrants get these jobs and then cry about it. besides coming to America illegal what have they done wrong? America HOME OF THE FREE yet the government controls our every move.

Yes, they are, in my mind, Pancha. It sounds to me like you are grasping at straws to try to justify why someone you are attached to is in the USA illegally. If they came here with a legal visa and let it lapse and then stayed illegally, they are no better than the illegal immigrants who walked across the border 20 years ago, 10 years ago, 5 years ago, yesterday - the length of time they have been here illegally also makes no difference. Someone who came here illegally 20 years ago is just as illegal as someone who walked over the border yesterday or let their visitor visa lapse last week. They are all as illegal as each other. Don't try to make excuses or try to make exceptions because they have managed to stay undetected for many years - they are all the same - illegal.

And your proof on a majority came from where ? Having a Visa that is expired makes you illegal. Illegal is illegal, deportation to those who choose not to follow the law.

Your question doesn't make since, how can the majority of illegal immigrants, be once legal immigrants, if they were once legal how did they become illegaly. only illegal can be deported.

there legality was dependant on things like time or school but when that was violated they became instant illegals. if they got a school visa or a work visa for a period of time then when the time ran out or they stoped doing the activity they got the visa for and didn't contact authorities to get a new one they became illegal.
This should be a good exsample of how easy it is to get into this country legaly with visas. violating that on our part tells people who have worked hard to get here that their efforts where meaningless they should have just walked across the border.
sorry done ranting hypocricy makes me angry

Yes. It would be like I went to the bank many times and did legal business with them, then I decided to break the law and rob that bank.....does it make it legal because I was a legal customer???I just wanted a larger withdrawal than my account had in it.

ILLEGAL is ILLEGAL. What do you not understand about that word. it doesn't matter if they were once here legally. If they are now ILLEGAL then they are breaking the law.
