THE TRUTH!!!!!
So many girls will say:
-I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend
-I'm too busy to be in a relationship
-I don't want to ruin the relationship
...etc. And we all know (and believe me, so will he) that these are sorry excuses!
The best thing you can do is tell the truth.
-I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in you.
If he's a friend then you can tell him that you are only interested in pursuing a freindly relationship with him.
Please please realize that this is not harsh. It is straightfoward. And he will apprecate you telling him the truth, and it is really the only way to help him get over you faster.
If you tell him something else, he will get mixed signals and/or an indication that if he waits, he's in.
Please.....tell him the truth. =D For yours and his sake.
Hope this helps!
P.S. If he wonders why (most likely will) then tell him ...again...the truth. =] "I don't feel the same way" Just...because you don't!
Try not to say too much though, because something you say might come back to haunt you....so it's best to be straightfoward and make it short.
=D

First and foremost i gotta say being a guy that im sick and tired of hearing the 2 lines that kill me.......we can still be friends....and...its not you its me.....i have heard the we can still be friends twice and it hurts more because it feels like such a pitty break up or excuse not to go out or stop seeing someone.......so from now on when girls say that to me im taking it to their word.......i will try and still be their friends....now as for your question i gotta say just let him down easy but dont give him bull **** .....be honest so that he can better or improve himself if something is wrong about his personality....or just say that i dont like you the same way you feel about me if thats true.....and then if he gives you bull **** then you can say your being honest.....we are men and we can take it.......basicly let him down easy but dont give him bull **** and be honest why.....lastly the only times i find lying acceptable is if he's extreamly ugly or has a small penis.....because he cant change that and he's stuck with it for life....in that case make up a good excuse

"Thank you for asking, but I have other plans" is the traditional formula. If you want the guy to ask you out again, you add "But I'd love to, some other time." If you don't, you omit this part. The guy may be persistant, but you simply continue to have "other plans". If some other, more acceptable fellow later asks you out for the same night, nothing prevents you from saying yes to him.

Don't turn him down, make it clear that you are not interested, but maybe you can have coffee.....You never know.....Get to know him before you turn him down....
I got to know a really nice girl that I would have never gone out with normally but I was free and it was just coffee. She turned out to be a good friend....

THE BEST WAY TO TURN DOWN A GUY IS TO SAY YES YOU WILL GO OUT WITH HIM AND THEN CALL HIM EVER 5MIN HE WILL GET SO SICK OF YOU HE WILL DUMP YOU IN ABOUT 24HRS AND TELL HIM YOU LOVE HIM AND WONT TO MARRY HIM NOW HE WILL RUN AWAY SO FAST HE'LL LEAVE STREAKS IN THE GRASS OR TELL HIM TO SHOW YOU HIS MAN HOOD IN FRONT OF EVERY ONE "MAKE SHORE THEIR ARE LOTS OF GRILLS A ROUND JUST IN CASE HE IS HUNG LIKE A HORSE HE CAN STILL GET A DATE." BUT IF HE IS TINE JUST LAUGH AND POINT HE'LL GET THE POINT.OR YOU CAN JUST BE TRUTH FULL YOU CAN'T HELP WHO YOU LIKE OR DON'T LIKE. GOOD LUCK

when I get turnd down I would really like the girl to first come over to my house..drive me to dinner and pay, maybe take me to a movie..when she is drops me off at home come in a give me some sex..and then just be honest and tell me you dont like me and dont want to go out with me..at least this way, I wouldn't have to feel totally rejected

The best answer is always an honest answer. If you're not interested, simply but politely say you're not interested.

Just say you aren't interested in that type of relationship with him. Just be sure to not play any games, all they do is cause trouble
