Three weeks is kind of young to be seperated...
But the training pads work like a charm...
Research the best ones on the internet.... They are not cheap (for what they are used for) so get as much information about the best kind!

Ok if that puppy is still not with it' mother it should be, they should not be separated for a minimum of 8 weeks, they have no control over they're bladder at 3 weeks of age. Those pads you asked about are specially scented to attract dogs, kind of like cat litter. But the only way to hose break your pet is to make sure to keep taking them outside and give positive reassurance when they go. Now the rule of thumb(and this is from the American Veterinary Assoc.) that a puppy can hold it's bladder approximately 1 hour for every month of age.

It's Not going to work on a 3 week old puppy, Its still to young.Puppy's are not supposed to be taken away from It's mother until It's 8 weeks. But in some cases you have to. But no the puppy pads wont work on one that little.

You have bigger problems than pottie training. What idiot sold you a 3 week old puppy? That puppy should stay with mother dog if at all possible. It's different if mother dog died, but that is the only reason.

They seem to work fine with my pup. Those pads are designed for dogs 'cause there's a scent that'll make 'em want to pee onto the pad. If you haven't taken that pup to the vet yet, you really should because it's still much too young to be away from its mother.
