For the sake of your new relationship, you have to cut the ties with your ex-friend. It's not healthy building a new relationship on the merits of the old relationship. It becomes a little messy.

Let your ex know that you like her JUST as a friend, and do still want her to have the best out of life. But she cannot reasonably expect you to include her in this new partnership. She needs to find something or someone to occupy her time.

Peace Out.

Go for the new one. The old one has detachment issues and probably needs professional help. Its not your fault, don't feel bad. Some girls can't handle stuff and just break down. If she thought about cutting, I would tell someone before something happens. Its not your fault. Just get the new girl something nice, or she'll think you forgot until the last minute.

I guess this problem is more common than I thought.

Stick with the new girlfriend. What to do? Ask the ex to get some help...some medication, some counseling...something. But not you.

Thinking about cutting is illness. She is in pain...but you are not the solution.

Be nice but refuse...and don't get the girlfriend involved....

Hi, Shawn..
You are the guy to take a final decision. Don't be instrumental in runing both at a time. Have a word with any one of escaping from her for the other, judiciously making your point to the entire satisfaction of her. Problem stands resolved.

You need to go about your ex indirectly. Inform other people who are close to her to help her. If you help her, you're just leading her on to think that you still love her as a lover and not as a friend, which can potentially make things worse. I just gave you a win-win situation, don't spoil it.

Your ex gf threatening to cut herself over you is not healthy. You need to either tell her to get help or talk to friends or family of hers to get her help.

Tell your old girlfriend that it is time to move onward with your life. Also mention she needs help if she is thinking about killing herself. Remember, you also have a shoulder to lean on because you have your new girl friend. Good luck!

Hook your ex up with someone else. Maybe a friend. Hopefully she'll get over you. Talk to her more until she finds someone else.

Good luck. Hope she doesn't cut herself.

She is trying to break you and your new gf up. You need to cut all ties with her. It is just going to make your life miserable.
