cause they're part of the terrier family (aren't they?) and all terriers are dominant and stubborn, it's in their nature, generally speaking.. .little guys but alpha-dogs

All the Asian dogs are stubborn, Pekinese, Chow Chow, Lhasas, Shiba Inus. I have no idea why.

I know why their stubborn because their short small stubborn & they think theyre all that just like my sister!!!!

I don't think they are at all - shih tzu are very sweet, loving dogs, in fact, they are one of the sweetest breeds there are. You need to be loving to your dogs and they will respond.

I have a male shih-tzu and let me tell you he has a mind of his own. when he gets ready to do something he does it no matter what you say. sometimes I get so mad at him I could kill him,but wouldnt ever hurt any animal.
