I had one removed from my stomach. It was about the size of 2 pencil erasers around and was a raised up bump.
My insurance covered mine so I am not sure how much it was. If you have insurance and your mole has changed size or color at all, it should cover it. Just ask the Dr. about it.

It didn't hurt at all. The Dr. numbed it with a medication and then just shaved it off with a razor.. It took about 2 minutes for the entire process and then covered it with a bandaid and I was on my way. Ask them about shaving it... most Drs. seem to be against that method as some of the other Drs. I talked to about it wanted to cut and dig mine out or burn it. I only have a slight discoloration on the edge where the mole was.

As far as where... just call any family Dr. they should be able to do them in their office(at least that is where I had mine done) But, it will probably cost a little more because you will have to pay a new patient office call as well.

Good Luck!

I had a mole removed, though I believe that mine was called a skin tag (a better term, I think!). Anyway, it was near my armpit and I went to my family doctor who numbed it with a few small shots. Then he had me lay on my back and he snipped it off with a scissors!!! I felt some pressure from the tweezers he used to get a clean cut, but other than that, I was just thankful that it was off! It was very difficult to shave my armpits with it, and now it's gone and I feel so free to wear whatever kind of shirt I want!! I love tank tops! It healed within a weak, although I have a reddish scar, though it's much better than having the skin tag there! I don't think it cost my family anything, we have insurance. But if you don't have insurance, it could cost $200 or more.

i had a TINY one removed from my neck as a child... they called it a skin tag. the procedure only lasted maybe 3 seconds... they burnt it off.

my son had a large one on his shoulder blade. they burnt that off also BUT, they ended up having to cut into it also because the core was so deep. it left a terrible scar BECAUSE it was in a place that stretches constantly. they put 4 stitches in it after they were done. his scar tissue looks like a fat spider with 8 legs. he always jokes and says when he's 18 he's going to have a web tatoo put around it... and i have to admitt that would be funny!

i don't remember what we payed for my son's because the insurance covered all of it because it was multi-colored (they call that a serious type i guess).

i'm certain a mole on your face wouldn't be very deep...but i would ask about scarring... the mark left behind may be less appealing to you than the current mole.

Depends on how big/deep it is as to how much it hurts. It costs however much your insurance (if you have it) costs. If you don't have insurance, you pay whatever the doctor pays. For the one on your face, be careful if you get it removed b/c it may be dark/discolored when healing. Talk to the doctor about that. You may want to see a plastic surgeon for that to make sure that it's removed properly with minimal scarring and healing time.

Yes,but the mole is numbed by injection before it is removed. It is a quick pinch from the needle. After that you won't feel anything. I would go to a dermatologist. If you have health insurance they would cover it.

It does not hurt too bad.
It depends on your doctor. Call and ask for price.
