Frozen custard. Soooo smooth and rich. Practically like silk. Don't need to work to find the flavor when licked. Hard ice cream is a gamble - you need to work your way through the extreme cold!

I'm not that familiar w/ frozen custard, I'm not even sure if I've had it. Do custards contain eggs? I guess I'd have to go with hard ice cream. We have an ice cream maker and go through lots of vanilla beans. My friend jokes that he wants to open a hydroponic vanilla bean farm b/c he likes our homemade ice cream so much.
Which do you prefer?

Custard is really good for plain flavors without toppings or fillings, because you can really taste the flavor. Hard ice cream is best when there are fillings or toppings. Hard ice cream holds all the stuff together. :-)

Regular ice cream. Although, I do like Culver's custard. I'm not sure if you have a Culvers where you live.
