..and the cops use to stun people like drug dealers and such? The reason I am asking is my crazy neighbor blows up these most incredibly loud "bombs" I call them. They just have to be illegal to use, and the guy is a known nut case anyway. Percussion grenades simply cant be as loud as these things are. The whole neighborhood, and we all live way out in the country, have had problems with this guy. We have called the cops on him cause bullets have hit peoples houses and once my b.f. and I were outside and 2 of them went by our heads! But, he likes to terrorize the neighborhood like he did tonite w/those bomb things and because we live so far in the country, it takes the cops at least 20 minutes to get here, and if they don't hear this for themselves, they cant do anything!!! Can anyone help here, Please??????~!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Distraction devices (flash-bangs) are Federally regulated since Waco. They each have a serial number that has to be tracked and a report turned in when they are used. It is very unlikely he is using them. Much more likely he's using something "improvised".

Report the "shots fired, houses hit" until someone comes and looks. Heck, email the police pictures of the damage. If you get no response, everyone has a boss. Try their Internal affairs, or simply call the Sherrif or the County Commissioners.

A percussion grenade explodes on impact. I don't believe it is the same as a flashbang.

If the guy is a "nut" as you say, he's probably over there blowing up black powder or something. If the bastard shoots at you, shoot back or tell the cops you were shot at. They shouldn't ignore that.

percussion grenades are the things the police throw into a house that show a big flash of light and lots of smoke and what your neighbor is doing is definately against the law
