The Democratic party has many good and noble goals, but they don't understand things like economics and human behavior. People work hard to build a better life for their families. Not to provide food stamps to the same families generation after generation.

The question itself tells us that the asker is ignorant. Both the Republican and Democratic parties are quite intelligent. They divide us over non-issues, fear, Hard on Crime, etc. And keep us all fighting against each other so they can control the power in this country. Look at the reality that the middle calss is shrinking, the super weathy class is consolidating in to the top 1% of Americans. They eliminated any thrid or fourth party's possibility of winning elections because they've fixed the rules. They tell us that the Media is liberal when in fact 84% of all media, TV, Cable, Radio, and entertainment is controlled by seven corporations. The Dems and Repub's allowed the rules on monopolies for media to be bypassed. The FCC passes 'rules' allowing conglomorites to by up as many media outlets that they choose to. The new york media is controlled by Three, that's right, THREE, corporations. These corporations never reported the congressional changes allowing the changes in place today. The media has the largest self-interest lobbists in Washington. But you think you know what is realing going on. Example- The administration blames the CIA for false information given on the WMD's. Yet we now know this not to be true at all. They were being told that the Administration ONLY wanted information that backed their story of the possible 'Mushroom' cloud coming from Iraq. It was false. The Chemical weapons that Iraq had were non-effective becaust eh shelf life of these weapons had expired 15 years earlier. The reality is if you really beleive a Republican you are foolish. If you really beleive a Democrat you are also foolish. They've made laws to give themselves protection in health care and retirement income and it isn't Social Security. Until we force the break up of the media monopoly will will never have enough information to make an intelligent decision. Sadly, only a few non-controlled media outlets exist, Freespeech TV, The Nation, and LINK TV. But ask your cable company if they even carry FSTV or LINK TV. If you owned a new paper or TV station, wouldn't you want them to puch stories that lean toward your own point of veiw?

WOW! Ignorance is bliss, The party separation should be up for discussion at election time. Right now arrogance is killing America. There is only right and wrong, if you feel what the worst President in American history (230 yrs.) is doing is okay, then say it loud and proud that you are Republican. And by the way the proper grammar would be "The Democratic Party" But understandable you only have to major in cheer-leading in collage to become such an embarrassment to the U.S.A.

The Democratic Party takes care of the people while the Republicans just want to cause problems for the people and ship them off to die in foreign wars that are absolutely meaningless. The Republicans let poor people starve in the streets and let illegal drugs and guns into the country and the democrats are always the ones taking civic responsibility and caring for the people.

Before making such generalizations on an anonymous message board, you should at least describe your own achievements/qualifications so that we can also judge how much of a brain you yourself possess. It's easy to say something and then run behind mommy's computer screen. I know plenty of democrats with brains that you couldn't possibly survive either a debate with or a fist fight with were you to say this to their face.

This is ridiculous! Why don't we just start shooting each other and have a civil war like in Iraq? You people are behaving like Sunnis and Shiites or Israelis and Palestinians who have hundreds of years of bloody hatred between them. How will the United States be well-served by all this name-calling and vitriol? No true patriot would ever do this!

Why would anyone want to divide this country? What are we... the Sunnis and the Shiites. I am a Democrat and a loyal American. My ancestors fought for your freedom and I have a son in Iraq. I don't understand vicious people like you.

Philosophy of life difference. There are many good people who vote both ways. My problem is that the dems are toting a party line of hating Bush, in a mindless fashion.

Well, they ain't heavy, they are my brothers too in far away land.
Since they are short handed why not extend them a helping hand and help solve the problems for the good of mankind on planet earth.
After all they were living human kind like you and me with two hands only on planet eath.
So why pull the sling-shots instead of reach out and extend a helping hand.
