I keep up with the flow of traffic because it's a safety issue. If I creep along, people behind me grow impatient and are likely to endanger others on the highway by trying to blast past me on a curve, in a no-passing zone, or just as we near an intersection where others are trying to get on the highway but are invisible to the impatient one rushing to get past me. And yes, that does occasionally mean we're all tearing along 12 to 15 MPH above the limit.
OTOH, if I blast on ahead twenty or more MPH over the limit, I put others unreasonably at risk should my load shift and cause me to drift out of lane, to overcorrect, or should I fail to spot a hazardous situation ahead, like a deer or a cow about to wander into the roadway.

55-65 unless it is rush hour then i go about 25. the reason most people say 10 over is the speed limit is because most police (not all) will not write a traffic ticket for less the 10 over, but that did not apply to me because the two i got i was doing ten over. so it really varies depending on the department and traffic. i would not push it with more then five over

Heard from my cop friend he will not pull anyone over who is driving 10 miles and under- over the speed limit. So I set cruise at 7 miles over.

> I extremely have a 92 HP Mitsubishi Mirage. Your project is 92, no longer the Mirage. All autos are designed for hwy velocity. yet previous autos are greater mushy to positioned on. As for the knock, i think of you mean TICKING (there's a huge distinction). Your engine must be laid low with oil circulate. First verify for engine oil point. If that's no longer the subject, think ofyou've have been given project with oil pump (oil rigidity). reliable luck....... P.S. Engine knock (engine detonation) could be quickly solved via employing severe octane gas. attempt a tankful. If the subject would not ensue with severe octane gas, then you definately have engine knock. that's a project you're able to be able to desire to remedy immediately. which will injury the engine from the interior the piston out.
