Most people post a serious answer to the question while occassionally you see a funny response.I was wondering if these funny replies ever get chosen as the "best answer".Have you ever chose a funny reply as best answer? If so,was it because it made you laugh or because it was relevant to the question?

Usually the jokes are not that funny.
Sometimes I will give a funny answer and close with a well thought out answer. It doesn't hurt to lighten the load a little but I do like nasty or really sarcastic jokes.
Some people ask sarcastic questions and those can be funny.

I don't ask too many questions, (I am Mr. KnowItAll) but I do come across some funny, some stupid, some silly answers from time to time. Sometimes I give my own, funny stupid answers, which really has not been picked as the best answer as yet. Perhaps this stupid answer to this strange question will get the best answer, then again maybe not.
I like my eggs fried.

I would give a best answer to someone who answered my question but used humor as well. Everybody should learn to laugh. But each person finds something different funny. I'm thinking educated wit, or a quick reply with hidden meaning, an upper class joke, not just something dumb. Where you wanting a funny answer to this... darn. Guess I'm too truthful.

Yes, I have had a funny one selected as a best answer. It made the guy laugh and also gave him some info.

oh this is so gross..i'm sorry..u asked..my brother in law was making crab and fish with veggie soup..i served myself a bowl and drowned it in lemon but then i looked and saw a box of frosted flakes that looked so good to me at the same time so i served myself frosted flakes with bananas and of course milk..put the bowls of soup and cereal side by side and took turns with each spoon...but it was so delicious,in my sick little pregnant mind..my husband couldnt look..i was really satisfied and happy afterwards...so sick..

a number of them I do .. no longer the extremely rude human beings... yet different than that, confident.. i like it whilst all and sundry is waiting to make me snicker, and that i take excitement in clever clever solutions in a humorous way ..
