If you're feeling the kick and she's already huge, it's only a matter of days. When you can feel an outline of the kittens in the womb, it's almost time. However, if you're just feeling small kicks, she probably has about 2 more weeks.

How in the heck do you plan on helping her? The cat will go where you are not around to have her kittens. The best thing to do is make a bed out of some towels or an old blanket where she can get to it and have privacy. They really prefer clean new towels though.

When my cat had her kittens, she let me know. She meowed alot like she was in heat, she followed me every where I went. I just thought she was in heat cause I couldn't tell she was big. But if ur cat is big then I give it a couple days. Watch her real close she will let you know.

When it LITERLLY looks like she has been inflated, it should be up to three weeks. But even if she has them while you're away, don't worry, she knows what to do. They depend on her, not you. It's an interesting surprise when you pick her up, too.Im a farm girl, I know animals, we once had up to 27 cats at one time, trust me, It will be fine.

I would ask the vet. Maybe board her at the vets if she hasn't had them yet when you leave. That way they can help her out. Good luck.

You will know when your cat has her kittens, when you find them in the "linen closet".
