Why? Are you feeding them to your boa constrictor?
A good pup can cost $1000 or more. Even "free" dogs cost money to take care of. Puppy shots are $200, then $100 a year for boosters. Annual Heartworm test and preventative medication $100. Professional trainer $600 and up. Going on vacation? Boarding kennel $40/day. Spaying? $250. If you can't afford to pay for a good dog, maybe you can't afford to maintain one either?

at your local animal shelter, or at most pet stores usually there is an area were people post flyers about free pets

In the newspaper. You can also go to the pound and get one for a very very low price. I recommend the pound for the animals that don't get adopted are put to sleep.

any pets ere free. even if somebody postd "free"you have to pay adoption fee. i was looking for free puppy too. go on www.puppyfind.com (you can find cheap) or www.petfinder.com

try calling a local vet, or you can try a shopping center someone is always trying to give one away oh and once you do find a pet please spay in neuter!!!
