First of all do some research on both countries on line...We too are looking to adopt and i have done lots and lots of research on line and found very good agencies...To my knowledge Cambodia is not allowing any adoptions at this time,, Although Ive been seeing this for yrs now so it might have changed but I'm thinking it has not..There are alot of other countries that are great as well...Guatemala is a wonderful country to consider as well as China..But i would do alot of reading on several countries to see which is best for you...Contact them by email and get packets in the mail to read more Ive gotten alot of these they come in handy....So i would start with some research and see from there..Hope this helps.. Here are a few links for you to get started with...

Since you used the word 'adopt' this is just a shot in the dark... but you may want to sponsor a child. I've done so for years and find it very satisfying. At www.children.org (Children International), I fell in love with a three-year old girl (now six) from Guatemala, whom I hope to visit one day soon. (I just received a new picture of her, which may be why this idea came to me.) They also provide for children from Honduras. As you probably know, there are other organizations doing the same kind of thing.

This may not be at all what you're looking for, but I thought it was worth trying. It may even be a good first step as far as learning your goals, your time and energy limits, your style of communicating and providing, and the like. If nothing else, it may be a pleasant substitute outlet for your love while you wait for the adopted child of your dreams. Or you may want to do both!

If you're sure you want to adopt, I'd read articles or a book about the process. The Internet or a library will almost surely help. Other people's experiences may put some pros, cons, and other considerations into your head which you never had before.

Good luck, and thanks for helping to spread some goodness.

it really is a noticeably intensive procedure, a great number of place of work artwork and far of "hurry up and wait" moments. that is nicely worth declaring that South Korea, very last I heard, in person-friendly words makes use of very few organizations and that company must have an place of work interior a so-many mile radius of the adoptive relations. Holt Adoptions contains ideas as between the few with a South Korea application. the technique is lengthy and likely, extreme priced, besides the undeniable fact that that is not any longer no longer accessible. undergo in ideas there is an adoption tax credit so distinct the costs will be reimbursed after the adoption finalization interior right here 12 months's taxes. Edit: Forgot to teach the e book "a thanks to undertake round the international", they make new transformations each and every couple years, so ascertain you get the most modern-day one. It takes you step by utilizing step for the total procedure, jointly with area of us of a-specifics. that is an exceedingly good source, in spite of if you're only doing all of your homework. Edit back: time body and value is entirely depending on which us of a is in touch contained in the adoption. some take a 12 months or a lot less, others longer. There are major alterations contained in the courses of diverse international places, that's why that is an exceedingly good concept to study all of them.
