You really wanna know how to drift in a front-wheel drive car? The answer is simple my friend--move to a snowy climate and practice during a snowstorm. To get the authentic feel, get yourself a rear-wheel drive car you can afford to dent up, like an old Crown Victoria or a Grand Marquis.

P.S.--make sure your liability insurance is paid up before you attempt any drifting.

You can't "drift" in a frontwheel drive car. If you get skilled enough you can slide with the e-brake. Fast food trays under the rear tires with the e-brake on will make for some fun sliding in an empty parking lot for a few minutes.

you're describing powersliding, which a FWD can't do. even nonetheless, a FWD vehicle can flow: "Braking flow This flow is comprehensive by ability of braking right into a corner so as that the vehicle transfers weight to the front. that's in the present day accompanied by ability of throttle, which in a RWD vehicle reasons the rear wheels to lose traction. FWD autos could additionally use this technique because it does not be counted on the rear wheels being pushed.[6512bd43d9caa6e02c99ba82652dca6512bd43d9caa6e02c99ba82652dca] In FWD autos the front wheels are actually not allowed to fasten because of the non-end power, the rear wheels lock actual by way of weight circulate and with the help of the well-known front heavy layout of FWDs. good overall performance brake pads will help this technique."

it will be difficult, as you would need alot of horsepower to drift, and having a front wheel drive car with ample amounts of horsepower will only lead to torque steer, and to drift you would want to push the car around the corner, not pull it. If you have access to a kids toy wagon, try it for yourself, try pushing it around a corner, then try to pull it, and see what happens.....
