Neither. Life began on a much smaller scale.

I totally agree with Marissa, God doesn't need evolution to fine tune his perfect creations. The evolution theory is just A theory not even a good one.

Think about the following:
- Why are there still apes and fish if everything evolves?
- If creatures evolve according to their needs (i.e. fish evolve to frogs because they craved to walk on land!) why don't human grow wings as we know that there are thousands of attempts by humans to fly?
- why can't humans "evolve" and breath under water for instance instead of drowning if we keep trying harder?
- Basing an evolution theory on resemblance and DNA is like saying if a small fiat has traces of gas in its tank so that must mean that the latest Ferrari that also had traces of similar gas was originally a Fiat, that wanted to be a Ferrari and was created by the same factory?
- I belive that god has created Adam and Eve as well as all the other pairs of creatures that we discovered and are still discovering in a perfect form. Seperately

Marissa, Smokingstore and Mo keep missing the bit about humans and apes decending from a COMMON ANCESTOR. Apes continued to evolve as APES, and human-like creatures evolved into Homo Sapiens after many other species came and went (some very ape-like but classed as human; more recent species possessing more human characteristics for example, burying their dead). We homo sapiens are the latest and therefore current "incarnation" but of course evolution continues day in and day out in ALL LIVING ORGANISMS. We continue to evolve, as does every other living organism on or under the earth. What the HELL is so difficult to grasp here??? Arrgh!!!!!!!!!! It makes me wanna cry sometimes.

Life begins as a eukaryote, if I remember correctly. A single celled organism that isn't even able yet to process sunlight.

Yet, I suppose we may never fully know what life began as, if, as many believe, nothing can ever be proved after the fact. Since no-one is actually here from the time period when life began to tell us what happened, we will just have to gaze at the stars and wonder.

i believe god created us and that he loved us so much. I don't think he would make us apes and exactly how come there are still apes? I don't think there is anyway a group could have evolved and seperated? And like HELLO, did they miss the train?

Niether. We used to be creatures of impulse and courage and need. We have double evolved- some still have that spirt, others wouldn't fight for thier life, bottom line. We use to be creatures of strength, endurance, passion, anger. No more.

all major religions describe that God created Adam,so i dont think there is any need to link humans to apes.
