Saying "lieber nicht" is the opposite, I believe.

Example:

Willst du einkaufen gehen?
Do you want to go shopping?

Lieber nicht.
Rather not.

Ich gehe lieber nach Hause.
I rather go home.

Another way:

Ich spiele lieber Tennis als Hockey.
I prefer playing tennis to hockey.

Ich spiele lieber Hockey als Tennis.
I prefer playing hockey to tennis.

Oh geez, I can`t even think the opposite word for "favorite" (lieblings) in english! :)

Maybe you want to say something like:

Mein Lieblingskuchen ist Apfelkuchen.
My favorite cake is apple cake.

Mein Lieblingskuchen ist nicht Apfelkuchen.
My favorite cake is not apple cake.

Maybe that helps.

No, not the way you phrased it.
But there is to "Liebe" = Love or "liebe" as in "like"
