Hey, the sale by date has NOTHING TO DO WITH how long the items are good for.
I was in the packaging industry for many, many, years. Many items or food products have a lower price just for a COME ON.
GET THE CHEAPEST AND HAVE A GOOD DAY.

some are not even good until their sale by date.....it depends on the item and how long it took the store to stock it. Wal Mart is the world's worst about pulling meat out of the freezer and then going on break before stocking it.

I would say...not tooo long maybe a day or two. It depends what it is ? Like meat I just wouldn't use after its date, as it has already been sitting in fridge for its 'good' time. Bread would be 'ok'. for toast or breadcrumbs. Biscuits, chips and non perishable items would be OK. Yogurt and dairy stuff 'might' be OK, but I wouldn't try it myself. Yeah I think it just depends what it is really.

It depends on the product.Milk, about 2 days.Eggs can be left out of the fridge about 3 days without spoiling,so I would guess they would be good in the fridge about a week.I would not chance cheese more than a day or two.But use your instints and eat careful.

It depends on the food and how it is stored. If it is kept out of the bacteria danger zone and doesn't smell bad, or have obvious signs of spoilage, you should be OK for a couple of days. Remember, "sell by" and "use by" are different....Use your judgment.

It depends on if they are opened, then stored. If opened they won't last but about 7-10 days. If you don't open them right away, they can last a couple of weeks. Best to freeze, and open when your ready to use them.
