Light blonde may suit. Money should be generated by doing something use full and get paid.

For a dark brown to go light blonde all over, its very damaging to the hair.
I will give it my best shot... You will need to choose a blonde colour at 10 or 11 level, it will look a lot ligther on the box, but it won't go that blonde. Maybe an 11.2 something with a pearl, silver tone to it, dont go for an ash blonde, it will have too much warmth in it, and make it look more orangey than blonde.

Dont apply directly to the scalp initially. You need to apply it about 1cm from the roots, then exactly to where her regrowth ends. Dont apply any colour to the lighter parts, or they will go lighter still. It's hard to say, but perhaps after 15-20 mins apply the colour to the roots, and leave for the remaining time. For the last 5 minutes you can comb it through to the ends of her hair.
You just need to keep an eye on it, and as soon as the roots look like they are the same colour as the ends (by rubbing the colour off with a tissue or towel), rinse it off.

Dont leave the colour on longer than recommended in the box, once the time is up, the colour has fully oxidated, and if you are still not at the desired colour, you will need to do it again.
This in turn could actually make it more expensive than going to a salon, because you may also need to tone it to make the colour even all over.

If you cant afford to go to a professional salon, how about going to a well reknowned hair dressing school? They are always requiring models to practice on. The students will do the hair, but they are under supervision by qualified haidressing tutors, and generally they dont charge you for time, just for the product used.
They will have a better idea of how to do it than you would, and they have direct access to all the colours.

Good luck with either way you choose.

TWO THING YOU CAN DO
1.because I can't see your hair I suggest that you take your daughter to a Sally's beauty supply store only stylist and girls going to school to be a stylist work there they will be able to point you in the right direction and tell you what produces to buy it may cost you a few more dollars then a box from the store but only a few more.
2. find a beauty school in your area they have students doing hair but the teachers are there to supervise you'll only pay about a 1/3 of what you would at a really salon ( about $20) at the school your guaranteed to get it done right. iTS YOUR DAUGHER SHES WORTH THE MONEY. you might want to only get highlights so you dont have to do her hair as often as the whole thing.good luck

okay honestly, i am not a stylist, but i have definatly had my share of blonde haircolor.

my hair is medium brown, i have been blonde in the past, it has ruined my hair! bleach is the only product that will pull darker hair lighter.

my suggestion, think about the skin tone. try carmel colors, mixed in.

also, i am a fashion freak, try to look as natual as possible.

point is, to get darker hair blonde, you will need bleach, bleach damges hair 10 times worse than dye, and dye wil only turn hair orange.

i hope this helps alittle

strawberry blonde but be sure to go to a hairsalon to get it done and if she is not over the age of 15 or 16 and depending on her hair texture her hair might be to weak for dye and maybe she just needs a really good bleach

own tale: the way you defined your hair is exactly how my hair usta be because of straightning it, it took me 2hrs to straighten my hair and it replaced right into a fro and Im not black, yet I chemical straightened my hair it really is the excellent ingredient i'd have carried out becuase each day straightening it ruins in so once you chemically straighten it, its instantly and at the same time as your roots commence groing contained in the will be wholesome and under no circumstances frizzy or curly so after chemicalling it merely enable it advance lower back and dont use warm equipment it's going to be solid have self belief me i love my hair

I am a hairstylist---my advice is to take her to the salon if not you may get in bigger trouble and need color correction which could cost at least one hundred dollar and damage her hair--good luck
