Yes! Of course, let your son go barefoot. Most people have the impression that something's wrong with it because it's not common in the US. What they fail to realize is that letting you child go barefoot is a clean, safe, healthy habbit that he can enjoy. Also contray to popular belief, it's NOT illegal. You don't have to take my word for it, go to your State Health Department's website and see for yourself! give him the freedom to be a kid, while he can be one. If he wants to go barefoot, let him. In fact, ues the heath-dept link below and find you state on the list. there should be a link to info from the state's health department

Was it punishment because he broke his sandal?
Think of the grunge that is on a movie theater floor! -- Spilled sodas, popcorn butter, squished Jujubees... all the sneezes and other germs that stick to it... Yuk!
He could get foot fungus(es)....
Wash his feet good (use some rubbing alcohol) afterwards...

depends on how old he is ..if he is older that 8 years u dont suppose to do that. but incase he doesnt have any other shoe to wear it is fine ,adam used to walk bearfoot, so nothing wrong with it...dont think abou tit much there is otherthings in life we should worry about more that sandal..good luck that was a cute question.

You don't say how old your son was. If you carried him in, I don't see a problem with it. If he walked in, with popcorn, pop and God knows what on the floor; not to mention unspeakable filth such as automobile oil in the parking lot, I'd say that yeah, you were probably wrong.
But since you did it anyway, I'm guessing you really don't care what anyone thinks, now do you? :)

its not like he planned on breaking his sandal so if he doesn't have foot fungus and wasn't stomping all over the food people were ordering then who cares?
i dont think its a big deal....my flip flop broke in a store so i just took it off and finished checking out.like i said it wasn't a big deal it was only a one time thing so you're good.

Yes - he should always wear shoes when leaving the House. That seems to be a very basic rule.

I'm surprised they let him in, where do you live? He didn't HAVE to go, he WANTED to go. I would of stayed home and spent the money on new sandals.

Not unless you live in a really bad area where there is a lot of broken glass and stuff. If that's the case, it was a bad idea.
